A very special Open Mic for Ramadan!
We would love to know what GENEROSITY means to you.
We will share with each other in an informal circle (not a stage) so don't be nervous!
We invite children, teens, young adults, and old adults to share your favourite poems, stories, quotes, and/or passages from secular and religious books.
We invite poets and storytellers of all ages to share original poems and stories.
We invite members of the community involved in charity work to talk about what motivates them.
To get us started, we will have Behesht, a Year 3 student involved with @Saturday_biriyani_party; Mariam, a medical student; Mariam, a college student and member of @team_amaar ; plus Miro, who will talk to us about @aboxofgoodness.
Our M.C. will be Abdulla Khayami, host of 'not art | poetry night' at @sonder.bh.
Please email email@example.com
to register as a speaker and provide your name, age (if a child), contact number, and what you will be sharing.
(If time is limited, we will give preference to our youngest contributors)
